Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, AML and compliance statement, and risk disclosure for RateSwap.

Terms of Service

RateSwap is a frontend that compares quotes from third-party exchange providers and embeds a provider-operated swap widget. We are not an exchange, a broker, a custodian or a money transmitter, and we never receive, hold or transmit your funds.

Each swap is a contract between you and the exchange provider you select in the widget. Their terms, limits and compliance policies apply to that swap. We make no guarantee about rates, timing, availability or the outcome of any swap.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the destination address and the network you select. On-chain transactions are irreversible; neither we nor the provider can recall a confirmed transfer.

The site is provided as-is, without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any loss connected to your use of the site is excluded.

Privacy Policy

There are no accounts on this site, so there is no user profile, no login and no user database of any kind.

We store only what you choose to send us: support tickets (topic, message, email address and any swap ID you include) and review submissions (rating, display name, review text, swap ID and an optional email address). Emails on reviews are never published.

We keep standard server logs for reliability and abuse prevention, including a hashed form of your IP address for form submissions. Your plain IP address is never stored. We do not run advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on your swap data, and analytics cookies are only set if you accept them.

We do not keep your data forever: abuse counters are deleted after 2 days, analytics records after 180 days, e-mail addresses on reviews are erased after 90 days, and support tickets are deleted after one year.

Swap quotes and swap creation run through our own server against Swapzone, our exchange partner. The receiving address you enter is passed to them to execute the swap and is not stored by us; their privacy policy governs what they do with it.

AML & Compliance

RateSwap does not execute exchanges and therefore does not perform customer due diligence. The exchange providers listed in the widget run their own AML and sanctions-screening programmes, and a provider may flag a specific transaction for review under its own policy.

We do not knowingly facilitate access for users in sanctioned jurisdictions and we cooperate with lawful requests concerning material we actually hold — which is limited to support tickets and review submissions.

Risk disclosure

Crypto assets are volatile. The value of what you receive can move between the moment you request a quote and the moment your deposit confirms, particularly on floating-rate swaps.

Transactions are irreversible and mistakes are permanent: a wrong address, a wrong network or a mistyped amount cannot be undone by us or by the provider.

RateSwap launched in 2026. Nothing on this site is investment, tax or legal advice.
